New Community Theatre Project

TangledWebb are delighted be working alongside the Florence Park Players at Florence Park Community Centre on their Winter Production. Usually a pantomime, this year they are thinking outside the box and creating a truly immersive, interactive theatre experience for the community. Led by Emma Webb and Associate  Artist Matt Winkworth and produced by Nadia Rich this show will draw talents out of every corner of the local  community. Look out for more information on your rather dreamy project. Check out our Sleeping Beauty community page to see how you can get involved.

Emma is currently writing Wherein for OFFBEAT 21

Life throws a multitude of first times at James and eva. Wherein follows some of the ripples caused by these moments. He sees everything as a still life, she lives with one foot in anybody else’s past. Wherein is a series of snappy scenes, each with a performance style of their own from stand up to silhouette woven together to tell the tale of life and its magical micro events.

Pegasus Young Company 16-25

Emma is currently collaborating with Clive Mendus of Complicite and the 16-18  company to create a new piece of theatre to be performed in December 2020.

The group are building ensemble skills, looking at ways to devise, becoming aware of their own ideas and how to put them into practice.

52 Loaves 52 lives

In an attempt to both make sense of lockdown and document the the outside world Emma is baking and gifting one loaf of bread a week for a year. Each  encounter is documented in a blog and photograph. After a year Emma is hoping to turn 52 Loaves 52 Lives into some sort of bread sharing, heart warming theatrical exploration.
